Our “passion for pasta” and awards goes beyond the kitchen, which is why we have staged the Felicetti Golf Challenge - an unmissable event for sports lovers - for the past four years. Fun, competition and excellent cuisine were the highlights of the event, which took place at the Dolomiti Golf Club in Sarnonico, with charming panoramic views of the Val di Non all around.
The first day, Saturday 28th July, kicked off with a typical Merano-style hearty breakfast with Weisswurst washed down with Forst “Felsenkeller” beer. The special guest was South Tyrolean ski champion Manfred Mölgg, sponsored by Pastificio Felicetti and winner of three world championships medals and one World Cup for slalom skiing. He was excited about taking to the course against Riccardo Felicetti once again this year. Lastly, the evening went with a swing with a dinner by two-star Michelin chef Alfio Ghezzi, of the Locanda Margon restaurant in Trento. Among the dishes on the menu, we wish to mention a delicious “Felicetti spaghettini salad lightly seasoned with garlic, oil and chilli pepper, wild herbs, trout and almonds” and the amazing “Monograno Felicetti Fusilloni with butter, Trentingrana cheese, lemon and cumin”.
The challenge continued with a “second round” on Sunday 29th July, the highlight of which was the fantastic performance by Trisorio Moreno, who finished with 72 strokes, scoring one-under-par for the course. This action-packed couple of days of sport, good food and excitement closed with an awards ceremony with Felicetti Pasta prizes.
