In the Year of Italian Food, Pastificio Felicetti could not miss out on one of the most eagerly anticipated Italian exhibitions: Cibus, the international food exhibition held in Parma from 7 to 10 May. With 3,100 food companies taking part as exhibitors and 1,300 new products on show, it once again proved to be the perfect opportunity to showcase the superb quality of our Italian products to an international audience.
Helping us out at the exhibition were some of the most eclectic and innovative Italian chefs, delighting visitors to the Felicetti and Monograno Felicetti stand with their recipes.
Massimiliano Poggi – Massimiliano Poggi Restaurant (Trebbo, Bologna), with Penne rigate “Il Cappelli” Monograno Felicetti with peppered mussels; Fabrizio Mantovani - FM con Gusto (Faenza, Ravenna), with Pàche Matt Monograno Felicetti with a burrata cream, confit tomato and anchovies, and Spaghettini “Il Cappelli” Rimini-Bangkok; Matteo Zanardi - Ai Beati (Garda, Verona) with Mini tacos with mackerel mousse and Spaghetti al nero di seppia Felicetti with salt cod ragout, salt cod foam and “assoluto di cipolla” onion broth; Simone Gottardello – EVO (Bardolino, Verona) with Conchiglione Matt Monograno Felicetti with Grisa guineafowl alla carbonara and Pacote “Il Cappelli” Monograno Felicetti with Grisa guineafowl ragout, peas and Grana Padano.
Cibus also provided the chance to discuss crucial issues with the other professionals taking part, at conferences organised specially for the event on themes such as the value of Italy’s agriculture and food legacy, innovation and sustainability, preventing food waste, fake news in the food sector, and promoting Italian products abroad.
