Pacote Monograno with octopus ragout.


For most people, September represents the beginning of the new year much more than January. It is in fact that time of the year when we feel the need to go back to the gym, and to pay more attention to our diet after having allowed ourselves some break from the rule during the holidays. This week's recipe, prepared with our Pacòte Monograno and a delicious octopus ragù, combines taste and well-being.


1 pack of Pacote Monograno Il Cappelli

1 medium size octopus

2 carrots

2 celery sticks

500g of tomato sauce


1 leek


Chop all the vegetables and sauté them with oil and garlic.

Take the octopus tentacles and cut them into dices, add them to the sauté, and brown it briefly. Blend with the wine.

Add the tomato sauce and let it simmer for half an hour. Season with salt and pepper.

Boil the pacote al dente, mix them with the meat sauce, and serve.
