London, 19 July 2022 - On the evening of Monday 18 July, the ceremony to proclaim the 50 best restaurants in the world took place at Old Billingsgate, a former fish market overlooking the Thames. St. Hubertus in San Cassiano (BZ), of which Norbert Niederkofler - three Michelin stars, green star for sustainability and Felicetti Ambassador Chef - is the executive chef, enters the list of "World's 50 Best Restaurants" for the first time, winning the 29th place .

"We are immensely grateful for this incredible recognition," he said on his social profiles. A goal that brings the importance of adopting an ethical and sustainable approach to the kitchen into the spotlight, summarized in the "Cook the Mountain" philosophy. A real lifestyle, the latter, which attributes to the kitchen the role of catalyst of cultural processes. Among the numerous principles on which it is based, the choice of local and seasonal raw materials, the reduction and reuse of waste and a direct relationship of mutual respect with suppliers. Partner of the Mo-Food holding and co-owner of AlpiNN-Food Space & Restaurant together with Paolo Ferretti, he carries out numerous activities that bring gastronomy into contact with other sectors, with the aim of promoting sustainable behavior.

Accompanying the chef to the ceremony were his wife Christine Lasta and the owners of the restaurant Hugo and Ursula Pizzinini. Hosted by famous actor Stanley Tucci, the event marked the victory of Rasmus Kofoed's "Geranium" in Copenhagen. Great success for Italy which won six positions.
