For the 27th Merano WineFestival, the most exclusive food and wine event in Europe, the Monograno Felicetti Lounge returned to the spa town in Alto Adige. At Gigi's Enoteca e Ristorante by the River Passirio on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 November, friends and guests enjoyed dishes created by the chef Matteo Monti, accompanied by fine wines and a DJ.
After aperitifs, with the original "piadaMATTa", the wonderfully creative menu featured mouthwatering pasta dishes: MERAMEN - Spaghettini with speck, würstel, trout roe in pumpkin, chestnut and mushroom broth; AGLI ANTIPODI DEL COUS COUS – Grattini with sweet mustard, horseradish and marinated vegetables; ROMA AL POMODORO - Rigatone romano "Il Cappelli" with tomato, basil and Parmesan.
Monograno Felicetti's unique flavour was a huge success not only with Lounge guests but also with The Circle, the WineFestival area that takes a more in depth look at the various Italian regions and their specialities with meetings and events. At 11.00 p.m. The Circle came alive with its "Aglio e Olio di Mezzanotte" by Monograno Felicetti and chef Roberto Ottone (Due Torri Hotel, Verona).
On this weekend devoted to culinary excellence, the Pastificio found an elegant setting that was perfect for conveying its values and coming face to face with companies in the Italian food scenario.
