On the occasion of the Italian Republic Day, Ambassador Armando Varricchio hosted the traditional reception, attended by over a thousand guests, including institutional representatives and members of the diplomatic community, prominent figures from the economic, scientific, academic, cultural, and media sectors from both Italy and Germany, as well as numerous members of the Italian community. Representing the German government were the Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs Susanne Baumann, along with the Undersecretary and Head of the Office of the German Federal Presidency Dörte Dinger, and numerous other government members and German authorities.

Representing the pasta factory, as an important sign of continuity and international vocation of the Trentino-based company founded in 1908 by Valentino Felicetti and still led by the family, were two members of the fifth Felicetti generation: Marialaura and Luca Felicetti, pictured at the moment of presenting a gift to Ambassador Varricchi

For the event, three dishes were served to the guests, crafted by Chef Roberto Sannino of the pop-up restaurant and cooking school "La Goccia - Berlin." He presented our Fusilli with arugula pesto, Parmesan, Taggiasca olives, and a Trentino-style beef tartare, Mezze maniche with octopus ragù, poor man's bread, and a hint of lemon, and finally, baked Sedani, prepared alla Norma with eggplant, basil, almonds, and mountain cheese.
